'Four Seasons' concert series

The 'Four Seasons' concert series was born when Robert Poortinga and top chef Elvis Mešić met at his stunning restaurant on the idyllic island of Vlieland. Both shared a vision: to elevate their crafts by creating a concert series where exquisite dishes, paired with fine wines, are served between musical performances.
 
“It has long been a dream of mine to create something beyond a traditional concert. For me, gastronomy is an incredible complement to music—and to life itself. I can’t imagine anything more delightful than enjoying oysters and champagne between the music of Liszt and Chopin. At these events, I’ve witnessed a level of happiness and enjoyment in the audience unlike anything before,” says Robert.
